Roseville is a busy and always-growing city near Sacramento.
If you want to work in Sacramento and live in Roseville, you’re going to find that the commute is at least 40 minutes both ways in pretty heavy traffic.
Besides that, there are so many great shopping opportunities that Roseville proper is just full of people traveling back and forth. Walkability is not great in Roseville either, so there’s not really the option to skip out on the car ride and walk to your destination in most situations.
If you’re not into heavy traffic or spending hours in the car, Roseville may not be the best place to set up residence.
2. New Construction
There is an Old Town Roseville with lots of gorgeous, vintage-style homes, but this area is not really a popular place to buy and sell.
Most homes you’ll find in Roseville are newer builds, which could be a con if you prefer a home with more character and style.
Plus, the constant growth in the area leaves a bit of a construction vibe which really lowers the curb appeal in the area.
