This is my Pleasanton neighborhood tour series. I’m going to feature Pleasanton Vintage Hills neighborhood. Now, please stick around to the end for my Pleasanton Park bonus section. This is where I discuss what park or parks are closest to this neighborhood and what features they have. So, let’s get started.
Vintage Hills is located in the Pleasanton Hills on the East side. There were several different construction periods for single family homes, beginning with track homes in the mid-1960s to custom homes in the early 2000s.
You will find several different styles of homes and elevations to include single story, two-story and split level designs. The square feet on these single family detached homes range from 1,100 and go all the way up to 3,900. One of the main home builders in the 70s was H. C. Elliot.
They constructed six different single family floor plans to include one story, two-story and split level homes. You will also find small developments of condos and townhomes styled units located in the North end area of Vintage Hills.
Some of the unique features about Vintage Hills homes are large lots, views and quiet streets. Some of these homes have three-car garages. Many Vintage Hills homes are conveniently located within walking distance to the parks, schools and the Pleasanton downtown area.

Each one is unique with special features. All have picnic tables, benches, walking paths and ample grass areas for multiple activities. Tawny and Vintage Hills Parks both have children’s play structures. Tawny Park has two basketball courts. And Kottinger Community and Memorial Parks stretch along three city blocks.
