After 10 years of planning, Lund Ranch II construction has finally started

Lund Ranch II community in Pleasanton, California, has been in the makings for over 10 years.

The developer is Greenbriar Homes. They’re building 43 homes next to Sycamore Heights and Bridle Creek neighborhoods and Ventana Hills neighborhood. The proposal is for 43 single-family homes located on approximately 20 acres at 1500 Lund Ranch Road, with the rest of the 174.8 acres being dedicated as permanent open space.

Now the original proposal was for 113 homes. However, after negotiating with the locals in Pleasanton, it was narrowed down to just 43 homes. Again, the total size of Lund Ranch is approximately 194 acres. The community or development is approximately 20 acres, and the remaining 174.8 acres are dedicated as permanent open space.

As you can see from the pictures I took yesterday, they are in their beginning stages. As things progress, I’ll continue to update you.
