Hi, I’m Warren Oberholser. I’m a realtor in the East Bay Tri-Valley area in Northern California. My goal is to help both buyers and sellers get maximum results for one of their biggest investments, their home.
Okay, here are the five cool things you can do in the Tri-Valley area for this Memorial weekend.
Now, I want you to know that some of these events you can actually do every weekend.
Number One: Pleasanton
Pleasanton’s historic downtown Main Street area has now closed off car traffic from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening. This is a great opportunity to take a casual stroll up and down Main Street to shop and dine. Pleasanton’s Downtown Main Street Association is planning to continue this format until the end of Labor Day weekend. Now, if you arrive early on Saturday, make sure you visit their farmer’s market, which runs from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Number Two: Dublin
The city of Dublin is excited to announce that today, Saturday, May 29th, their recreational aquatic center at the Wave is now open to the public. The hours of operation are from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. They plan to operate daily until the end of the season. And, you can make reservations.
Number Three: San Ramon
The city of San Ramon has now changed its format for the Art and Wind Festival, which they plan for Memorial weekend. In lieu of the traditional Art and Wind Festival this year, the city of San Ramon is celebrating the spirit of the festival by providing a variety of activities throughout the week, which can be done virtually at home or in a San Ramon park. These events started May 25th, and they’ll continue until May 31st.
Number Four: Danville
Tomorrow, Sunday, May 30th, Danville’s Blackhawk Museum will be hosting a car show. This is the Porsche Club of America Annual Car Show. The event time is from 8:00 AM to 12 noon.
Number Five: Livermore
As with Pleasanton, Livermore’s Downtown First Street will be closed off to vehicle traffic from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening. This allows the public easy and safe access to restaurants and shops. As with Pleasanton, they’ll continue this until the end of Labor Day weekend.
This wraps up the five coolest things you can do in the Tri-Valley area for this Memorial weekend.
I would like to say a special thank you to those brave men and women who gave their lives in the performance of their military duty. We honor and appreciate your service to our country.
I hope you enjoyed this article. Please let me know if you have any questions. Warren

If you are thinking about purchasing or selling a home, please reach out to me by text, phone, or email. If it is convenient, I can schedule a Zoom chat so we can discuss your home goals.
